DURBAN-based industrial and commercial property specialist, Shree Property Holdings announced a R350-million expansion of the Woodmead Industrial Park, with six new industrial facilities planned for Shakaskraal.
Over the next 12 months, the development will add approximately 40,000 sqm of new warehouse and manufacturing space, reinforcing the North Coast’s growing industrial and logistics sector, the company said online.
This latest phase brings Shree Property Holdings’ total investment within the KwaDukuza municipal area to approximately R620 million, making it one of the region’s most significant private industrial investments in recent years.
The expansion follows continued growth within the precinct, including the Hesto Harnesses Plant C facility, which currently supports more than 800 jobs.
Shree Property Holdings managing director Craiglen Naidoo said the company remains committed to investing in KwaZulu-Natal while creating opportunities for local contractors, suppliers and workers.
The company’s property portfolio includes vast sites in the Durban South Basin, including key locations in Congella and Mobeni.
